Kindergarten Field Trip

Here I am again this time with Jace. We went to the Ogden Nature Center. It was a little chilly it helped that it was a sunny day. The kids learned about animal tracks and got to see a tortoise,tarantula,crickets,eagle,snake and pelican. They got to feel and touch a turtle shell and rabbit fur. Jaces favorite part was seeing the tortoise. Its fun going on field trips and getting to know the kids in Jace's class. :)

Field Trip

I went with Justins 3rd grade class on a field trip to the Living Planet Aquarium in sandy. It was fun and the kids were excited about touching stinrays,starfish and looking at the awesome octupus. Before we got on the bus to return home Justin said "I don't want to hurt your feelings mom but I want to sit by my teacher on the way back." I just laughed knowing that sometimes mom comes second.

In Memory

Mom passed away January 11, 2009, after a battle of liver cancer. She was the mother of seven children. She loved to crochet, make crafts, cake decorate, homemade candy for friends and family. She was the best cook around. Mom enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. It comforts me to know that she is not in pain and in a better place. I know she is happy and has found peace. I love you mom.
